Q:
So my nasolabial folds are much more prominent due to it. I’m very interested in having Bellafill injected in my cheeks. However I’m scared to do too much since it’s permanent. Is one syringe ok to start with (half on each side)? Or is that a waste of time and money?
Also, what would happen if I had Bellafill just injected in my NL folds only and not in the cheeks? What are the concerns with that?

Hello and thanks for posting.
There are several approaches for improving the appearance of naso-labial folds. The first is to inject filler into the fold itself. This will help a bit, but is usually not the only and best solution. Most of the time, the naso-labial fold becomes more noticeable because of volume loss in the cheek above the fold. Restoring volume in this location will elevate the tissue and soften the appearance of the fold. Often, we combine both approaches for best results.
One syringe of Bellafill is not going to do much. Three to five syringes might be a more realistic estimate.
I hope that this information helps and best of luck to you!
