Both men and women suffer from thinning hair or hair loss. Many factors affect the health of the hair and scalp, such as nutritional deficiencies, malfunctioning thyroid, hormonal changes, medications, environmental factors, and stress. Rejuvenating the scalp with combining Microneedling and PRP (Platelet rich plasma) and/or stem cells can promote hair growth and improve the quality of the hair.
Before and After
For best results, 2-5X concentration of PRP is both injected and microneedled into the scalp. Four to five treatments are often needed, about 4-6 weeks apart. When necessary, fat cells are harvested from the abdominal or hip region. The fat cells are then processed, or micronized, to extrapolate the stem and stromal cells. These cells are injected into the scalp to improve the circulation of the scalp and promote hair growth.
